How it works

Register

1887. 1st. Edition. Very scarce thus. 8vo. In the original printed paper lined limp cloth. 352pp. with a lovely folding map frontispiece of S.Africa  and 4 other folding maps. With moderate wear, mainly of the spine allowing the first sewn section to become detached. This has been reattached with glue and a single internal hinge reinforcement between two preliminary advertisements. Still a presentable copy of this scarce book preserved in a custom made marble paper and cloth solander box. Much less common than the author's later title - Zambesia.
