The author\'s well-written experiences during a number of hunting excursions in the Northern Cape and Bechuanaland, with much on the natural history of the animals he encountered. 300 pp with frontis and 17 engraved plates ( all present). Covers a little age-worn, hinges cracked but holding, ownership on eps. Book is generally in good and clean condition, but a four of the prelims have been very roughly slit on top edge, with some unsightly loss.
