Green rexine (simulated leather) binding with gilt titling on the spine and the upper board. Green end papers. 16 prelims, 133 pages, full page black and white portrait of the author, thirty tipped-in full colour plates and nine wood engravings.

CONDITION DETAILS: The binding is still firm, but the rexine is starting to split at the top and bottom of the spine. The front end papers have some fish moth scarring.
