Limited Collectors' Edition # 685 of 1250

Full leather binding brown with black leather wrap-around spine band.

Gilt buffalo motif and titling to front panel.

Gilt titling and motif to spine band which has seven raised bands.

A light curved scar and a bruise to the front black leather band and some tiny white spots.

Some short rippled scars to the back leather.

Presentation plate tipped in to verso of first plate.

Contained within this first volume are sixty left-hand photographic pages and descriptive narrative, facing sixty specially commissioned works from eighteen leading artists, many of international fame.

It is worth noting that not one of the artists viewed the photographs from which he or she executed the artwork. The brief to them was simply the predator and the prey. It would have been presumptuous and lacking in the recognition of the artists' creative licence, had we, as publishers, dictated the approach and content of their submitted work.

Foreword by David Shepherd.

A tiny nick and crease to the tissue guard and page edge of the foreword page.

Each plate reproduction is covered by a tissue guard.

159 pages with illustrated eps forming part of the collection.

Pages 154 - 159 contain acknowledgements, sponsors' listing and biopics of the artists.
