The first edition of this title illustrated by Arthur Rackham with 4 full page colour plates and many in text black and white drawings. In the original Rackham illustrated stiff wraps which have some wear and loss at the extremes of the spine. The illustrated endpapers have an inscription on the ffep. There is some scattered foxing on the title page and to a lesser extent elsewhere. The plates are all clean. With the dw. which is frayed and worn and has some pieces missing from each end of the spine. There is a low reserve price in accordance with the condition.
