Errata slip attached to the front paste down. xxxiv prelims, 456 pages, frontis with tissue guard, 35 of the 36 (Picture of Rev. Walter Walsh - page 120 - not present) black and white illustrations, including the frontis portrait with its tissue guard and the Appendix, which is a music page.
There are pencil notes and corrections on 6 pages for the purchaser to identify the hand that wrote them. (see image)
CONDITION DETAILS: The binding has some edge wear with small tears and a little loss of surface. There is some foxing throughout. The letter and the end papers have tape residue marks. The letter has a few repairs to close tears.
