Original grey wrappers pictorially decorated in brown and black. First edition, which consisted of 5,000 Copies-Fewer than the number of copies for most all Haggard's fiction tittles. This is an abridged version (With New Preface By Haggard) of his first book, Cetywayo And His White Neighbours, which dealt with the last Boer war Of 1877-1881. This tittle is one of Haggard's most difficult to find in acceptable condition. It is his only book-length title that was published in England only in wrappers. This is a very good copy.
