(5 endpaper leaves), (iv), 353, (ii), (i blank),  (i colophon) pages & (4 endpaper leaves), full limp vellum with silk ties, titled gilt on the spine, edged uncut (light spotting on the fore-edges), 2 full-page wood engravings by Burne-Jones, ornamental borders and initials, contents printed in Troy type in black with book numbers in red, contents bright.

Colophon: Here endeth the Life and Death of Jason, written by William Morris, and printed by the said William Morris at the Kelmscott Press, Upper Mall, Hammersmith, in the county of Middlesex, and finished on the 25th Day of May, 1895. Sold by William Morris at the Kelmscott Press.

An edition limited to 206 copies of which 200 are on paper (5 guineas) and 6 on vellum (20 guineas).

Peterson (William S.) A Bibliography of The Kelmscott Press (reprinted with corrections 1985),  A34. \'Jason which was originally intended to be part of The Earthly Paradise (introduction i, 42), was first published in 1867 and was revised by Morris for the 1868, 1882 and1895 editions. Morris admitted to an interviewer in 1895 that the Kelmscott Press edition must have been priced too high, since the book had not sold well.\'
