Lord Metcalfe (1875-1846) was a Governor-General of India , Governor of Jamaica and Governor-General of Canada. The two volumes consist of previously unpublished letters and journals to his friends and family.
Tan leather with gilt decoration and gilt titles. Vol 1 & 2. Very good overall condition some foxing on end papers and vol 1 has name of previous owner on front end paper.
