Tom Morris was one of the earliest professionals of golf, he won the Open Championship in 1861, 62, 64 and 67, later served as Greenskeeper at St Andrews and is an inductee of the World Golf Hall of Fame. This comprehensive biography was written for his 87th birthday by Reverend Tulloch and is regarded as one of the classics of golf literature. 

An ex-library copy (Port Elizabeth Public Library), quarter leather with gilt lettering on spine, 334 pages, complete with 27 black & white plates. Pages are crisp but heavily foxed, plates are clean, library stamps and inscriptions on end pages, small stamps on title pages, light wear to boards.
