This is an example of the 120 Collectors' copies signed by the author, but this copy slipped past the publisher without its number. The image provided shows the author's signature, but the space above it where the copy number should be is blank.
Contained in the original slipcase covered with dark grey book cloth, hand marbled paper and leather trim matching the quarter green leather binding with a title label on the spine and marbled paper boards. Maroon end papers. 208 pages, 2 maps, profusely illustrated with colour photographs.
CONDITION DETAILS: The slipcase has two rear corner bump marks. The spine is sun faded and is a much lighter colour than it should be. There are also a few marks on the spine. There is a small ownership label on the front free end paper. Otherwise, a clean lightly used copy.
