An unusually nice crisp copy of this book in the original brown cloth with gilt lettering on the spine. The cloth has some very minor marks and a few tiny bumps but is near fine. There is an ownership signature on the ffep. but otherwise the book is internally clean and unfoxed. In the rare dw. which has a 7x3cm. chip at the top of the fore edge of the front panel, some lesser chips and tears and some staining of the front panel(see pictures). Foreword by J.C. Smuts and mapped endpapers.
