First Edition, hardcover Octavo bound in brown cloth boards and has 288 pages.

Gilt lettering to the spine. Head/heal and corners are bumped and has rubbing along the edges due to general shelf-wear.

An account of the Low-Veld area by the author who served as the first warden of what would, under his watch, become the Kruger National Park. With 16 half-tone plates.

General map of The Low-veld on the front/back pastedowns and endpapers. Second front endpaper in missing, and has some marks on the front/back boards, also has small ink stains on the top/right back board.

Overall, the book is in good condition.
