Two volume set. Government Archives of Southern Rhodesia Oppenheimer Series Number One. 

Original red (spines faded) buckram bindings with gilt titling on the spines and a gilt Coat of Arms of Rhodesia decorative motif on the upper boards. Top edges gilt. Volume one has xv prelims, 382 pages, a full colour frontis portrait of Robert Moffat, 2 back and white plates and a large folding map at the rear. Volume two has 10 prelims, 295 pages, 3 black and white plates and a folding map at the rear, which is the same in both volumes.

CONDITION DETAILS: The spines are very sun faded, as well as a part of volume two's upper board. Volume one has a few soil marks on the end papers. The last two pages of volume 2 are uncut.
