This fragile booklet is Edgar Wallace's first publication. It is a 52pp. volume of poetry, subtitled : A Tale of The Raid and Other Poems Reprinted from the "Owl" etc. The Jameson Raid and other South African topics. In the original grey illustrated paper wraps.
The covers of this book are bright and clean, the only defects being loss of paper over the spine and extending slightly to the rear wrapper. There is also a 3mm. chip at the lower fore corner of the front wrapper. The inner front wrapper has a 1cm. slightly browned tape reinforcement at the lower fore edge. (Please see the supplied images). Internally the book is very clean, unmarked and unfoxed. A better than average copy and fairly scarce thus.
