Sixth edition, 2 volumes, 8vo, xxvi, 365pp.; (vi), 339pp. Portrait frontispiece and a folding plate. This is the second issue of the Library Edition in which the entire text was reset in larger type. In a finely bound contemporary half vellum and beige cloth binding with 5 raised bands on the spine with gilt titling on black leather labels and hand sewn headbands. The front boards are embossed in gilt with an armorial type insignia.

There is some age soiling and light wear to the covers, but otherwise this is a clean unmarked tight set free of foxing and inscriptions.
