3 volumes: 152 hand-coloured engraved plates by S. Watts and W. Clark after Mrs. Withers and C. M. Curtis many heightened with gum arabic, some double page, contemporary green morocco faded and rubbed along the edges, marbled paper sides worn, top edges gilt other edges uncut, marbled endpapers with a bookplate in volumes 2 & 3, some light foxing and off setting, overall a very good set.

Dunthorne (Gordon) Flower & Fruit prints of the 18th and early 19th Centuries, Da Capo Press, New York, 1970: No. 184 (page 217) describes the later issue Pomological Britannica, London 1841.
