This is a rare 1854 first edition with half-leather binding, and marbled boards and end papers. The spine and corners have some areas of noticeable rubbing. The binding is tight and intact. Some pages have light foxing, and some discoloration along fore-edge of plates. Plates are otherwise bright, and beautifully preserved with facing tissue intact. Good copy of a rare edition.
