An account of British doings in Zululand since the invasion of 1879, Being a Sequel to The History of the Zulu War by Frances Ellen Colenso and  Lieut.-Colonel Edward Durnford.

2 volumes: 380+513 pages, laid down photographic portraits as a frontispieces in each volume – I. bishop Colenso. II. Cetshwayo ka Mpande, 3 sketch maps in the text, original blind stamped maroon cloth – the spines are faded, boards are lightly insect scarred and the corners worn, foxing throughout and spotting on the page edges.

Miss Colenso covers the War and subsequent events including Cetshwayo 's visit to England and his return to a broken Zululand. Colenso was an admirer of Cetshwayo.
