Vol 1 The Gathering Storm,1948; Vol 2 Their Finest Hour, 1949; Vol 3 The Grand Alliance, 1950; Vol 4 The Hinge of Fate, 1951; Vol 5 Closing the Ring, 1952; Vol 6 Triumph and Tragedy, 1954. Spines of dust jackets a little sunned and heads of spine slightly chipped. These jackets of economy standard and never in perfect condition. Top stain red uneven in vols. Cloth near fine. A bright set of this masterpiece of historical war writing.

With a letter from W H Smith offering a book binding service to rebind the set in full morocco or half leather.
