(Hackett, p. 163; SABIB 4, p. 564) Accession code in white adjacent to tail of upper joint; spine a little sunned; light wear to cloth; small penned notation to front pastedown; small ink stamps of National Army Museum, with CANCELLED stamp to free endpapers of extra cover; earlier owner\'s name signed on upper wrapper; a few informed pencilled annotations to margins of photographs; upper wrapper just holding; some light foxing. Good condition. A fascinating series of views in the town and within the perimeter defences, taken during the siege, with some further scenes of the country surrounding Ladysmith and places of strategic importance on the Natal front.
