The presentation opposite the frontis reads: "With the author's best regards to his old friend (page 231)". Page 231 deals with a Captain Mills, formerly from Queensland, now a Rhodesian. Original red cloth boards with gilt titling on the spine and the upper board. 252 pages, 5 of 6 black and white drawings by Walter Seed, 19 black and white photographic illustrations. CONDITION DETAILS: The binding worn and the gilt titling is very faded, especially on the spine. Crayon name and book seller writing in pencil on the free front end paper. The illustrations are all coming loose and there is a fair amount soiling and foxing throughout. Aside from the attractive inscription by the author, the condition of this book is not good. The last plate is missing, reducing the condition of this book to POOR.
