Hunting in the open country near Mt. Kenia, the author bagged
a large variety of plains game including lesser kudu, gazelle,
impala, wildebeest, and eland, as well as lion and buffalo. Perhaps
the most exciting passage in this little volume is taken from a letter
written by Hepburn's companion, H. Lloyd Folsom, detailing the
dangers of a lion hunt, [Czech: An Annotated Bibliography of African
Big Game Hunting Books, 1785 - 1950 p.74]".
