Illustrated with interesting black and white photographs, and has a fold out map (page 1), illustrations collated and complete.
The book has a portrait of Paul Kruger with his printed signature on the frontispiece page, also with a tissue guard. Head/heel and corners are bumped, with some marks to the front/back boards.
There is a compliments slip from the author on the front endpaper. Tip-ex marks on the front endpaper and also behind the half title page. The binding and the book are in good condition.
