Seven original 'publisher-bound' volumes of the popular late Victorian general interest magazine, with black and white illustrations accompanying the texts - most notable for the inclusion of the Holmes detective stories, many of which are included here, with the original illustrations by Sidney Paget: The Hound of the Baskervilles, The Solitary Cyclist, The Adventure of Black Peter, The Adventure of Charles Augustus Milverton, etc... all volumes in overall good condition, though with varying amounts of foxing, and some with remnants of small worming to spine cloth and inner spine areas (now extinct, heavier on inner hinges of some volumes); gilt edges, boards rubbed, some volumes shaken with occasional loose pages. Reserve price reduced. Volumes included are: 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30 and 31 (six months per volume).
