Original blue simulated leather binding with gilt titling on the upper board with blind stamped decorations. Full page sepia photographic frontis portrait of Thomas Baines, 2 pages of the new publisher's introduction, giving a total of 8 pages of text followed by the 10 colour plates. Including the facsimile of the original title page, there are a total of 11 colour plates.

CONDITION DETAILS: The lid of the box is sunned down the left hand side. There is some browning/off-setting on the front end papers - see image provided of a corner.
