These two volumes are the ninth title in the Central African Archives Oppenheimer Series.
Both volumes have their original dust jackets and are in their original red buckram bindings with gilt titling on the spines and a badge device on their upper boards. Top edges gilt.
Volume one has lvi prelims, 209 pages, some uncut, 9 illustrations and a folding map at the rear. Volume two has vi prelims and continues the pagination to page 462, 8 illustrations and a folding map at the rear. Many of the colour illustrations are from Thomas Baines art works.
CONDITION DETAILS: The dust jackets have some wear and tear. There is a book seller's embossed stamp on the front free end papers.
