This lot comprises three Agatha Christie first UK (Collins Crime Club) editions featuring her famous fictional character, Miss Jane Marple. As follows:
- 4.50 from Paddington. 1957. A very good plus/near fine unmarked copy in the original red boards. In a very good about complete unclipped dustwrapper which has some edge wear with a few short closed tears and a slightly sunned spine. The unclipped dustwrapper has no price suggesting this was a Colonial copy.
- A Caribbean Mystery. 1964. Very good plus/near fine unmarked copy in the original two tone red cloth boards. In a very good minus price-clipped dustwrapper which has some minor fishmothing defects along the folds of both front and rear flaps – see images.
- Sleeping Murder. 1976. Slight lean but otherwise a near fine unmarked copy in a very good plus unclipped dustwrapper which as usual has a slightly sunned spine. The final Miss Marple novel.
I only use Courier shipping. So prospective buyers outside of South Africa should please be aware of fairly steep shipping costs.
