This lot comprises the following three titles, all limited de-luxe first editions:
1. E.J. de Jager. Contemporary African Art in South Africa. 1973. Struik. Cape Town. Small 4to. Full leather bound de-luxe edition signed by the author, No. 95 of 100 copies. Unpaginated but circa 130pp. Extensively illustrated in black and white and colour. The leather is a little rubbed at the edges. Internally fine.
2. F.L. Alexander & Roman Waher. South African Graphic Art and its Techniques. 1974. Human & Rousseau. Cape Town. 4to. De-Luxe edition No. 65 of 150 copies with loose original graphic by Waher laid in loosely numbered 19/42. Bound in tan quarter leather and oatmeal cloth. Extensively illustrated in black and white with some colour plates.In fine condition.
3. Alfred Gordon-Brown. Pictorial Africana. 1975. A.A. Balkema. Cape Town. No106 of of the de-luxe edition of 200 copies signed byby the author and bound in quarter leather and marbeld boards, in the original dustwrapper. Extensively illustrated in black and white with some colour plates. The book is in fine condition. The dustwrapper is very good plus with slight fraying at the top of the spine.
