First US Edition: 283 pages, coloured frontispiece, 70 plates,1 map, green cloth gilt with gilt lion head on upper cover, several pages unopened, top edge gilt, others uncut, light foxing on preliminary pages, front hinge split but holding on the netting, the contents printed on coated paper are bright.
