Second expedition by noted Scottish explorer, this time through the heart of Masai country, via Mount Kilimanjaro past Lakes Naivasha and Nakuru toward Lake Baringo. In original blind-stamped gilt-decorated covers, eps replaced, ex museum library copy, with small stamps in prelims, 583 pp + 32 pp ads; all engraved plates present, as well as both maps, both of which have some archival repairs, mainly at folds. A very clean and tight copy of an uncommon work.
