Stigand travelled through the unknown area of Rendile country

near Lake Stefanie. He passed through Samburr country, then on

to the Barta Steppe where he bagged topi, lion and buffalo.

While there are solid instances of sport, this title is primarily

valuable for its description of the terrain and native peoples encountered:
