Navy blue buckram boards, probably bound by City of Liverpool Reference Library. With gilt lettering to spine with gilt accession number to tail.

Published under the Auspices of The Royal Philatelic Society-London, 1940. x plus 154 pages text with photographs, exampls etc through text. 12 colour plates stitched to rear by Library, and a small Library label(withdrawn) over sealed pocket in which loose plated would have been place(**These are stitched into text). Neat 1.5 stamp to selected pages. Very clean copy. Becoming scarce.
