This is the 5th. Edition of this classic work in Octavo format published in 1807. 550pp. All edges uncut and a few pages unopened With the engraved frontispiece, a large folding map, three folding engraved plates and two full page engraved botanical plates. Not collated as there is no list of plates in this volume, but it appears complete. Simply rebound in 1/4 buckram and paper covered boards with the original label laid down on the spine. An unsophisticated copy. Calder House, 13.C. is written in ink on a preliminary blank page. The frontispiece and one of the folding plates have stains but otherwise this is a clean copy without any foxing.
