Both volumes are bound in dark green simulated leather rexine boards with gilt titling on the spines and the upper boards. The volumes are paginated continuously to page 597. Volume 1 has xv prelims, and Vol. 2 has 10 prelims. Colour and black and white maps, and profusely illustrated with fine full colour photographic plates.
Inscribed and signed by Van Wyk to a fellow botany-lover, Jo Ondestall. These volumes have been used but are in very good condition. Previous ownership in front.
