A Snuff Mull made from a piece of Springbok horn, bearing an embossed C.I.V. (City Imperial Volunteers) plaque dated 1900. The bottom plug is the cross section of a tree branch. The lid has a solid brass ring surround which holds a 1900 penny in place. The penny has developed a beautiful desirable rainbow patina. Traces of snuff can be smelt when the lid is opened
