Twelve magnificent copper-plates on obstetrics. They are from an exploded book entitled as above. The author describes new practices which were significant advances in 1751. The plates are accurate and well done. They depict the normal anatomy of uterus, placenta and cervix, embryonic development and various foetal malpresentations at term. Framed as a set these 269 year old plates would look stunning.
