This lot comprises the scarce uncorrected proof copies of the first editions of the following two earliesh John le Carre title in the original printed Hodder & Stoughton wraps:
1. The Naive and Sentimental Lover. 1971. Lightly used original wraps with a name and telephone number in ballpoint pen at the top of the front wrapper. Internally clean. About very good.
2. Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. 1974. The first novel of the Karla trilogy. Very lightly used original wraps. Clean internally. A very good copy and scarce thus.
