A superb copy of the first UK edition of this Afro-American classic in the exceedingly scarce dustwrapper. With a foreword by Paul Robeson which is not in the US edition rendering this edition very desirable. Much scarcer than the UK edition published in 1938.
Bookseller's sticker on the front pastedown, otherwise a just about fine crisp unmarked copy in the original blue cloth in a near fine yellow Gollancz dustwrapper which has light edge wear and a couple of tiny chips (see images).
