Unpaginated, 31 full page colour plates with accompanying text and other colour illustrations, bound in black elephant hide with heavy brass edges and the Rhodesian coat of arms also in brass on the upper cover.
The brass edges of the upper cover are tarnished and lightly pitted, the front hinge is split and the elephant hide is a little dull, the endpapers are creased, the contents and plates are clean and bright.
Copy No. B. of an edition limited to 515 numbered and signed copies of which 1 - 500 are the Collectors\' Edition and A - O are Presentation Copies.
This copy is from the library of Lieutenant-General George Peter Walls (1926 - 2010), Commander of the Combined Operations Headquarters of the Military of Rhodesia from 1977 to 1980. It is signed by Major Darke on the copyright page and is inscribed by him to General Walls on the dedication page. The inscription reads, \'General Sir, I am very proud that I had the honour to serve in the very fine army which you created for this country in its time of need, S.T. Darke.\'
