First edition: Title page printed in silver and gilt, 12 hand-coloured photo-lithographic plates, with captions naming the specimens in Latin, English, Tamil, Telugu, Hindustani and Canarese, all with tissue guards, half morocco with red cloth boards, the spine is very worn and the boards are insect scarred, marbled end papers, a very good copy.
