A very rare publication, of interest to World War II and General J.C. Smuts collectors. The Governor-General's National War Fund, started on 15 July 1940 and gathered momentum in 1941. Its purpose was to financially help the families of men and women away fighting, to help with children's education, and to help returning soldiers after demobilisation.
