Publisher's red cloth binding. 554pp. Many illustrations.

This copy belonged to Frikkie Botha, South African diplomat and former South African Ambassador to the U.S.A. in the early 1970's. He was a well known collector of Africana. His bookplate is on the front pastedown. There is also a gift inscription to him on the front endpaper.
