A 28 panel linen backed coloured map measuring 97cm x 73cm which folds down to 21cm x 11cm with red cloth outer covers with titles in gilt on the front cover. The publisher's original red cloth covers are in very good condition. Some faint marks on the rear cover.The map in very good (+) condition.

The unfolded map measures 97cm x 73cm and folds down to 21cm x 11cm.

This “War Map of South Africa” shows the Transvaal and the Orange Free State with inset maps of the Making District, the Kimberley district the Natal Frontier. The maps and insets show considerable details of railways, topography, gold fields and the major British, Portuguese and German Territories.
