The first edition of this travel title which, as per Waugh's Preface, is all he wanted to preserve of his 4 previous travel books, Labels, Ninety-two Days, Remote People and Waugh in Abyssinia. A very good unmarked copy in the original yellow cloth which is slightly soiled with a coloured frontispiece of the author. In a good unclipped dustwrapper which has some tears, chipping and staining and two internal tape repairs - see accompanying images for a fuller description.
