8vo (20 x 13 x 2.1cm) 230pp. Original hardcover binding with gilt lettering to spine, and with dust jacket.

 

Who Goes There? is a collection of science fiction stories by American writer John W. Campbell Jr.. The 1951 film The Thing from Another World, and 1982 version The Thing by John Carpenter, are based on the title story. The stories originally appeared in the magazine Astounding SF under Campbell's pseudonym Don A. Stuart. (Wikipedia)

Condition: Very good. Dust jacket has some rubbing, edgewear, small chips to edges, and a closed tear to top edge of front of dust jacket (less than 3cm). Small instances of insect damage to spine of dust jacket, with small sections missing. Dust jacket has been covered with protective Brodart plastic sleeve. Minor bump to bottom edge of rear board, and old price in pen to front free endpaper. Text is clean. Copy is well bound.
