This book is the culmination of several years intensive study, photography and specimen collection of the plants of a relatively restricted area. A further 40 previously undescribed species, studied by Dr. Killick have been brought to light and added to Mr. Trauseld's number, including the recently described Selago trauseldii and several others, mainly ground orchids, Compositae and Asclepiadaceae, which were still being investigated at the time of publication.
