Translated into the Cyrillic alphabet by Boris Zakhoder, illustrated with text illustrations echoing the original Shepard designs and 7 full-page colored plates (+ front cover design) by Boris Diodorov and G Kalinovsky. Square 8vo, [208]pp; beige cloth pictorial stamped and titled, colored pictorial endpapers, original paper pictorial dust-jacket.

Apparently the first separate Russian edition of WINNIE-THE-POOH, although research indicates the same translator published this text along with "House At Pooh Corner" as part of the same volume five years earlier (1960). In that version there were different illustrations by another artist (Alisa Poret). Our Russian version was reprinted in New York by E P Dutton (1967) and there is nothing earlier available on
