228 pages, frontispiece, 12 black and white plates, black and white illustrations, red cloth titled gilt on the spine, a good, used copy in a worn dust jacket. Browning to the first six pages.

Sutherland spent considerable time hunting in the Zambesi Valley. During his sporting efforts there, he collected lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant. As he notes” Hunting less than anything else lends itself to cut and dried technique; no two shots are ever made in exactly the same circumstances.   (Czech - An Annotated Bibliography of African Big Game Hunting Books, 1785 to 1999 page 274)
