The stories in this book appeared regularly in The Sunday Mail (Rhodesia) during 1974 and 1975 under the title "Anecdotes from Aquarelle". The author thanked the Editor and Management of the Sunday Mail for permitting him to reproduce them for this book.
He also thanks Russell Williams for his work in illustrating his stories. He had found time to do this between his normal work with the Department of National Parks & Wild Life Management and his special duties with the Selous Scouts.
